Cruise for Shoes

So what’s this event? Mt. Madonna Challenge has partnered with Community Solutions of Gilroy, CA, to provide those in need with shoes this holiday season. This event is free to all; however, if you donate a pair of shoes, you will be given a meal voucher to redeem after the run. La Pupusa Lady will be hooking it up with breakfast burritos! The Gilroy High School chamber choir will be caroling post-run, so be sure to stick around. Read more about the event on the registration page.

Mt. Madonna Challenge will be hosting the Gilroy Beer Runs starting at 6pm every other Friday beginning May 16, 2025 to August 23, 2024

What is a beer run? We run, hang out, have a drink, and occasionally make a community-related announcement. These beer runs aim to connect and support our community and local businesses. We will meet at the location that corresponds to the date at 6pm

We are grateful to have an amazing person like, Randy Higashi, supporting us! If you’ve joined us for a beer run, chances are you’ve seen him behind a camera. Randy has kindly taken time out of his day to not only capture the moment, but upload the pictures onto his site for purchase, and donate the proceeds to the Mt. Madonna Challenge Scholarships. Mt. Madonna Challenge hosts course preview runs. Course preview runs are a great way for race participants to familiarize themselves with the course before race day! We are now done for the year but be surety check back with us next year!
